FAQ and Policies
Ordering & Custom Orders
How to do I place an order?
Orders can be placed through our website or by contacting The Prissy Pig directly for help with a custom order.
What is the custom order process?
Send us the details of what you’re looking for, including the item, quantity, sizes, colors, and design idea. We’ll work with you to get everything lined up before production begins.
Can I send my own design?
Yes!
You’re welcome to provide your own artwork. Please send the highest-quality file available to Orders@prissy-pig.com
Low-resolution or blurry artwork may affect the final print quality.
How do mockups and approvals work?
For custom orders, a mockup may be provided for approval before printing. Please review all spelling, names, colors, sizing, and placement carefully before approving.
What are the payment requirements?
Payment is required before your order moves into production unless other arrangements have been made.
Can I make changes after approval?
Once a design has been approved and production has started, changes may not be possible. If changes can still be made, additional fees may apply.
Turnaround Time
What is Prissy's standard turnaround?
Turnaround times may vary depending on the type of order, quantity, current workload, and product availability. Estimated turnaround times will be provided when applicable.
What is the turn time for a Gang Sheet?
DTF gang sheets are typically completed within 24–48 hours after payment is received and artwork is ready to print.
Do you offer rush orders?
Rush orders may be available depending on our current schedule and product availability. Rush fees may apply. Please contact us before placing your order if you need it by a specific date.
What can delay my order?
Turnaround time may be extended due to inventory availability, shipping delays from suppliers, waiting for payment, delayed mockup approval, design changes, or other circumstances outside of our control.
Mockup & Design Approval
What should I check before approving my mockup?
Please review your mockup carefully before approving it. Customers are responsible for checking all spelling, names, dates, colors, sizing, artwork, and print placement.
What does approval mean?
Once you approve a mockup, you are confirming that the design is correct and may move into production as shown.
Can I make changes after approval?
Changes requested after approval may not always be possible. If changes can still be made, additional design or production fees may apply.
Will the printed colors look exactly like my screen?
Not always. Colors can appear differently depending on your phone, computer, screen settings, garment color, and printing process. Slight color variations between the digital mockup and the finished product are normal.
For customers who need a more accurate color reference, The Prissy Pig offers a printed color chart with HEX codes produced on our printer. This gives you a better idea of how colors will actually print before finalizing your design.
Payment Policy
When is payment due?
Payment is due before your order moves into production unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
Will my order be started before payment is received?
No. Orders may be designed, held, or prepared for review, but production will not begin until payment has been received.
What happens if payment is delayed?
Unpaid orders may be delayed, placed on hold, or canceled. Any quoted turnaround time begins once payment has been received and all required approvals are complete.
For time-sensitive orders, delayed payment may affect the original completion date.

Shipping
When is my order considered shipped?
Your order is considered shipped once it has been packaged, labeled, and transferred to the shipping carrier.
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes. Tracking information will be provided when available.
What if my shipment is delayed?
Once a package has been accepted by the carrier, shipping times and delays are outside of The Prissy Pig’s control.
What if my package is lost or damaged?
If your package appears lost or arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help determine the next steps. Carrier claims may be required.
Who is responsible for the shipping address?
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. The Prissy Pig is not responsible for packages delayed, lost, or returned due to an incorrect address provided at checkout.
Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
Can custom or personalized items be returned?
Because custom and personalized items are made specifically for you, they are generally final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless there is a production error.
What if I order the wrong size?
Customers are responsible for selecting the correct size. Please review available size charts before ordering. We are unable to replace custom garments because the wrong size was selected.
What if something is wrong with my order?
If your item is defective or we made an error with your order, please contact us as soon as possible with photos and a description of the issue so we can review it.
Normal wear, improper care, or damage caused after the item has been received is not considered a production defect.
DTF Prints & Gang Sheets
What type of artwork should I submit?
Please submit the highest-quality artwork available. PNG files with transparent backgrounds are needed in order to print.
Am I responsible for the artwork I submit?
Yes. Customers are responsible for checking artwork for spelling, image quality, sizing, transparency, and overall design before submitting it for printing.
What happens if my image is blurry or low resolution?
Low-resolution artwork may print blurry, pixelated, or distorted. We will print customer-supplied artwork as provided unless design services or corrections have been requested.
How are gang sheets sized?
Please make sure all artwork fits within the selected gang sheet dimensions. Artwork placed outside the printable area may be cut off or may require adjustment.
Will printed colors look exactly like my screen?
Not always. Screens display color differently than printers, so slight color variations are normal. Customers who need a more accurate reference may use our printed color chart with HEX codes produced from our printer.
Reach out if you need a color sheet!
Do my files need transparent backgrounds?
Yes, unless you intentionally want a background printed. Any visible background in your artwork may print.
Can I get a refund if there is an issue with my artwork?
We cannot offer refunds or replacements for issues caused by customer-supplied artwork, including low resolution, incorrect sizing, spelling errors, unwanted backgrounds, or color choices.
Minor production variations in final print size may occur.
DTF Pressing Instructions & Garment Care Instructions
Pressing Instructions
For best results, we recommend using a heat press.
Recommended settings:
Temperature: 300–320°F
Press Time: 10–15 seconds
Pressure: Medium to firm
Pre-press the garment for a few seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
Place the transfer in the desired position and press using even pressure. Allow the transfer to cool slightly before peeling unless otherwise noted.
After peeling, cover the design with parchment paper, butcher paper, or a finishing sheet and press again for 5–10 seconds.
Avoid pressing directly over seams, zippers, buttons, pockets, or other raised areas that may prevent even pressure.
Every heat press performs differently, so temperature, pressure, and time may need slight adjustment. The Prissy Pig is not responsible for transfers damaged due to incorrect application, temperature, pressure, time, or garment selection.
Care Instructions
To help your garment and print last as long as possible:
- Wash inside out
- Wash in cold water
- Use a gentle cycle
- Avoid bleach
- Avoid harsh detergents
- Tumble dry low or hang dry
- Avoid high heat
- Do not iron directly over the design
- Do not dry clean
Normal wear, washing, and drying may affect garments and prints over time. The Prissy Pig is not responsible for damage caused by improper washing, drying, ironing, or garment care.
Garment Information & Color Disclaimer
Do all shirt brands fit the same?
No. Fit and sizing can vary between garment brands and styles. Customers should review the available size chart before ordering.
Will garment colors always look exactly the same?
Garment-dyed and pigment-dyed items may have natural variations in color, texture, or wash. These variations are part of the garment and are not considered defects.
Colors may also appear differently on phones, computers, and other screens.
What if a garment is out of stock?
Manufacturer availability can change without notice. If your selected garment, color, or size becomes unavailable, we will contact you before making any substitution.
Cancellations & Order Changes
Can I cancel my order?
Orders may be canceled before production begins. Once materials have been ordered, artwork has been approved, or production has started, cancellation may no longer be possible.
Can I change my order after approval?
Once a custom design has been approved, changes may not be possible. If changes can still be made, additional design, material, or production fees may apply.
Personalized items that have already entered production cannot be changed or canceled.
Customer-Supplied Items
Can I bring my own garment or item to be printed?
Customer-supplied items may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
Please understand that decorating outside garments carries additional risk. Different fabrics, coatings, dyes, and materials can react differently to heat and printing.
By providing your own item, you acknowledge that The Prissy Pig cannot guarantee how the garment or material will react during decoration.
If a customer-supplied item is damaged during the printing or pressing process, replacement of the original item may not be available.
For valuable, sentimental, or irreplaceable items, we strongly recommend discussing the item with us before proceeding.
